Course Purchase & Registration Policy

Overview

Each course registration is sold as a single-user training license (“seat”). This license grants one individual access to the course materials, tracking system, and certification process.

Because each seat initiates system access, tracking, and administrative resources, our policies are based on usage of the license, not course completion.

Course Access Duration

Course access is valid for one (1) year from the date of registration. All required lessons, assessments, and documentation must be completed within this 365-day period. Upon expiration, access to the course materials will be closed, and a new seat must be purchased if the user wishes to resume training or earn a Certificate of Completion.

Refund Policy

Before Course Access

A full refund or account credit may be requested if:

  • Request is made within 30 days
  • The course has not been accessed, and
  • No progress has been made

After Course Access

Once a course has been accessed (e.g., login, lesson viewed, or activity recorded), refunds are not available.

This applies regardless of:

  • Whether the course was completed
  • Whether the employee remains with your organization
  • Changes in staffing or role

Employer Purchases

When an employer purchases a course on behalf of an employee:

  • The purchase is for course access, not a guaranteed outcome
  • The employer is responsible for:
    • Assigning the correct participant
    • Managing employee turnover or role changes

Certificate of Completion Requirements

Course completion and Certificate of Completion require:

  • Completion of all required lessons and assessments
  • Submission and approval of any required documentation (e.g., skills verification)

Partial completion does not qualify for certification, credit, or refund.

System & Technical Requirements

It is the responsibility of the purchaser and the individual user to ensure they have the necessary technology to access the training. This includes a modern web browser, a reliable high-speed internet connection capable of streaming video, and a compatible device (desktop, laptop, or tablet). We are not responsible for access issues caused by local clinic network firewalls, strict IT restrictions, or outdated hardware.

Exceptions

We review requests for exceptions on a case-by-case basis, but exceptions are rare and generally limited to:

  • Duplicate purchases
  • Verifiable technical access issues on our platform's end that prevent course use
